Sorry the Souths fans but there wasn't an obvious stand out on your side. Ben Hannant gets the 3 for LeagueUnlimited.com tonight. Strange since his team was flogged but he was the best on the park imo.

Beau Champion was outstanding tonight. Scored two, set up two more and contained one of the most potent attacking centres in the game. There was at least one, if not two try saving tackles thrown in the mix as well. Head and shoulders, the best player on the park imo.

Champion was good, I had him in the top three but then I had to fit Issac Luke and Sam Burgess in there as well. Ben Hannant though, he was amazing considering the flow of the game. Champion was good in a winning team. Hannant was huge in a well beaten side. That's a class performance. Sorry that I didn't include him. It was more or less a coin flip between him and Burgess for the one point and given the article I wrote, well ...

Souths played a near perfect game, sure the refs were hopeless, but souths deserved the win. Amazing performance.

On the up-side for the Dogs, Hannant was phenomenal, Barba was excellent and should be getting a lot more game time, and even though idris' defense is still suspect, he is really picking up his game again. I think souths would have beaten anyone tonight.

Great by Souths, best game we have played in a long time. The forwards set the platform for everyone else to chip in

Great Games by Issac Luke and Sam Burgess. Also Beau Champion and Nathan Merritt were solid in defense all night. Sandow and Sutton did what they had to do and it got us the 2 points

Very good performance, hopefully set the tone for rest of season.
