That was a Jeff Fenech "Love yous all" moment for me. Winning on the buzzer like that after having basically thrown it away with a soft error and a weak late in the count high tackle penalty. Lewis Brown was amazing, but full credit to Lance Hohaia to go to him in the last half a minute when I was calling to try for a long range field goal, Hohaia had the vision to see that Brown had his biatch set up again for another defensive gagging. Idris makes Jerome Ropati look like Dallas Johnson defensively.

If I were the Dogs, I would seriously look at changing your halfback. After the soft try early, I thought Kimmorley went MIA and cruelled momentum runs with some poor, poor options. Poor Maloney will owe the lads a beer for being the only player in the NRL capable of being fooled defensively by a 47 year old Noddy. I love the fact you can basically count on an intercept or two from Kimmorley to relieve the defensive pressure.

Warriors went down Idris' side all night and it kept paying off. Has to be one of the worst defenders in the comp

Idris is only a slight part of the problem, he was being left exposed by his inside men in the middle where we again were being dominated and were caught out, our inside men are not working hard and this is leaving Turner/Idris exposed way too much.

Have to agree...there appears to be no defensive structure for the Dogs. Kimmorley is not offering anything in leadership or attack.

The Warriors are dangerous when they get into a free flow attacking mentality and this showed last night.

For a big pack of forwards that struggle after half time (just kidding) they played well.

i enjoyed watching that smug prick ennis looking so miserable afterwards.

we all did. ;-)

The little scumbag gave it to your number 17 when he was penalised with a few minutes remaining....and I still don't know what that penalty was for. The ref's put the whistle away for the Warriors, but certainly gave the Dogs a few at the back of the match.

Problems all over the field as you have stated.

Patten has seen his best days, not making incisions anymore on his kick returns. He is getting on in age, and last season or before would never have made that final error.

Kimmorley falls into the Patten category, he will always try, but is now also getting on in age. Starting to be a little too slow, getting dominated by attackers when defending, throws too many silly passes.

Your backrow offers nothing, Andrew Ryan should have retired last year...never breaks the line hardly even threatens it. He'll try all day but in reality he's not going to win a match for you.
Stagg is just a honest toiler.
Warburton probably wouldn't be in 1st grade at most other clubs.

The forward pack besides Hannant is not offering much at all.
Everyone knows Ennis plays now, and they defend well against him.

Tunrer / Idris defensively are shocking.

And as crazy as this sounds, despite all that I think you'll beat the Tigers next week.

Glad I tipped the Warriors last night when most others in tipping comps had the Dogs.

I won't be tipping the Dogs for a while now...

I think people under-estimate how good the Warriors actually are.
They didn't lose by much to Manly last week, who really are going better than the ladder states...Manly should be on 6 points, we all know what happened against Parra, and they should never have been run down by the Tigers (who are on 8 points).
The Warriors went with Manly last week.

Don't really know what to think. On one hand we almost won a game we weren't really in for most of the night. On the other hand I feel we're just struggling full stop. Mid-second half we showed glimpses of what got us across the line in 2009 but really we need to aim up and as Kevvy said in the press conference really gel as a team. It's hard with a few signature forwards missing but hopefully they're back vs Brisbane or Parra and we can put our best foot forward.

Tigers next week will be interesting, they're missing Moltzen now and their record with him and 1/2 has been phenomenal. Still not holding my breath as Benji will probably tear us a new one...

I didn't see the game, but based on reports, I'm a little excited that the Warriors are starting to come good. I really think rugby league is in a much stronger position when they are a top 8 team.

It's good for the NRL if the Warriors are winning. We had a nice crowd to Manly game (think it was 19k) and the band-wagonners jump on when the Warriors are winning and doing well.

Penrith next week will be another test.

I think it was probably more a case of the Warriors switching off thinking they had the game in the bag.
When they were on, the Warriors, they split you guys apart very easily.

I do think you guys are going to be in for a long season....just my opinion, but I don't think you lot will make the 8....however I do think you'll beat the Tigers next week.

I think Tigers will beat Dogs next week... I heard that Benji has something like a 100% win record against them..he always seems to play heaps good against Dogs. Well done to the Warriors...you guys are proving the critics wrong.

Can't believe the Warriors paid $3.20 on the NZ TAB.
Go the Warriors!

I put $150 on the warriors at $3.40. Not bad for a nights work
