Jeez the ruck penalties are a mystery to me these day. If ever there is a good kick that pins the opp. in their ten, the refs seem to always give a relieving penalty to the team with the ball.. no reward for the dominant defensive team. Its almost as if the refs thinik 'sh*t, they aren't going to make it past the 20 on the 5th, better help them out'

agreed, it happens every game and still mystifies me. It frustrates me even when it's not my team.

I really don't give a f**k about the refereeing performances for any of our games this year. We could get a 10 - 0 penalty count and we still wouldn't win at the moment. Penalties won't teach our team how to score a try :crazy:

I do think it was a bad call to allow play to continue, but the fact remains that the whistle hadn't gone. It was laughable watching Rhys Wesser streak through after a ball that none of our team seemed remotely interested in.

To be honest, your pack isn't the problem - your last tackle options tonight was atrocious. They made some of ours look like master-strokes. If your halves had been playing with even half of the ability required to be a first grader, Souths would have cracked 50 tonight.
