Hmm let down of a second half. Penrith clearly the better side for 90% of the match and definitely deserved the win. Copped a couple iffy calls costing 2 tries and I thought in general the Tigs got the rub of the green in the ruck, but it was the right result in the end.

Coote is having a monster season. Gordon was immense tonight along with Tighe and Purtell and Grant stepped it up another level. Lewis continued his form.
For the Tigers, Heighington was very good, Tuqiri a constant threat, Marshall did some silly things and Farah had some flashes of brilliance.

Both sides need to improve to match it with St George.

Lastly great to see a really strong crowd over 19000 for the Pennies.

Bad luck to the Tigers and a good win the Penrith. That was the best Sat night game this year I have listened to so far.

I thought the Penrith Forwards were dominant and Penrith really should have won the game much more easily, it's a bit of a worry they didn't.

 at someone saying the refs almost won us the game.

The refs were decent unbiasedly, it's good to see they played no part in it, but deadset when we got it back to 20-18, we should've won it from there. Ellis had the ball raked out, then Lawrence's debacle.

We are a mess at the moment. We need Lui/Taumata back, urgently. What the hell was Sheens thinking playing sh*tzhenry at halfback? Honestly? No halfback=no organisation=drop-a-thon. We were ripping teams apart with our attack in the first 5 weeks, now in the last 2 we've scored 22 points.

Tuqiri knocked on and it wasn't picked up. Walsh didn't knock on but it was called a drop. In the first half Smith's ball to Purtell was called forward but it looked fine. Atleast 3 calls favouring the Tigers.

But the important thing is we got the 2 points and confidence keeps growing with wins.

Best for Panthers- Lewis, Coote, Frank, Gordon, Civ. Pretty good all round but still a few dumb plays like Paulo's silly basketball pass.

Anyway that's 11 wins out of our last 13 against the Tigers. For some reason we always fire up against them.

Tigers still had alot of positives with their defence, just too many poor plays by the halves and Panthers were highly enthusiastic. I think Tigers will rip apart the Roosters next week.

Loving Penrith's form at the moment, I'll be shocked if they aren't towards the top come September

Being a Penrith supporter it is hard to get too excited too early as we are used to failure. However i think we can get to the finals for the first time since 2004.

I'd like to beleive that but given the way we folded at the back end of last season I won't be saying a word until we actually make the finals.

f**king Tim Sheens picking f**king Fitzhenry to play in the halves. Well done you spastic old merkin.

I bet that useless wooden spoon winning gnome merkin of an assistant coach he has bet some dollars on the Panthers to get up tonight.

I though Waterhouse dropped the ball in the PTB before the last penalty of the first half but thats not what concerns me about tonight.

Well done to Penrith you did the job asked and f**k you Tim Sheens you muppet

Panthers seem to go well in the first half but drop off early in the second half. They will need to get that sorted before facing the big teams in Manly and the Dragons.

Panthers looking like the real deal at the moment. If they stay healthy, they could go very far.

Tigers have looked fragile ever since 2005. Injuries derailing them has been the story for basically the last five seasons.

f**k me have a whinge! The decisions went both ways.

BTW You have a full squad available and you're playing brilliant football. I would love to be in your position at the moment.

Just telling it the way I see it.

Tigers will be fine. You can't seem to beat the Panthers for some reason, I think our clubs are in a similar position actually. Neither have made for the finals for ages and both sides barring a real injury crisis have the teams that should get there in 2010 and then its a whole new ball game.

We are right in the middle of our injury crisis.

The brain injury to Royce excluded of course. That f**king tard is lucky to lay the witches hats out in a straight line

Barring one we would be....

Anyway, I'm not going to complain about the reffing. Just the same you could bring up the tackle on Lewis prior to half time, the strip for Lewis on Ellis and so forth. It was well reffed in the end.

Penrith did their job, well done to them. We f**ked up, well done to Sheens and co.

The better side won on the night of that there can be no doubt.

The Panthers won the battle up front and controlled the game reasonably well apart from some brain explosions.

I always felt we would come out on top and probably should have won by more but for some poor options and a couple of dodgy calls.

The Tigers have points in them and I have no doubt they will be there at the business end of the season but there remain doubts about there forward pack

I'll take 9 first-graders out of the Roosters and see how they go.

Well we've got:

Symonds
Cherrington
James Aubusson
Martin Kennedy

Thats 4 rather important players, with a few others only having limited footy this season.

Who are the 9 first graders injured for the tigers??

I count Moltzen, Lui, Payten and Tuiaki
