Must win for the Knights if we want to keep in touch with the top 8.

Gonna be hard as f**k, and our defense is too shaky to compete with them I think.

Although I think we have a good record against them here at home? Plus Mullen always seems to go well against them.

Smart tip is the Titans though.

Titans should pump us. we'll find out if we've turned a corner last week or whether we're still soft as sh*t.

^these are my main thoughts, but I too have this really odd gut feeling that we are going to go close to winning this at the very least.

We will have Simpson, Naiqama (and supposed to have) Mad Dog available for selection too.

Not that I'm suggesting Wes should get a run as he is mostly below standard for a first grader these days, but he usually makes his way onto our bench.

Gidley, Taia, Sau, Minichiello, Bird and Laffranchi all backing up. In terms of game time these players will actually play on Friday night and the subsequent back-up the Knights might have a slight edge in this one.

Never know with these teams especially the Knights. Probably stick with the Titans.

I can see this being a real trap game for the Titans. Given the run they've had against Melboure, Dragons, Manly and Panthers. They could see Newcastle and relax a little.
Especially with Brisbane next week and having to get themselves back up for that.

I'm leaning towards Newcastle who can be good when they want to be.

Can't go past the Titans. Not sure of the numbers in terms of players backing up but I think theres a few Knights in the Test squads while the Titans IIRC only really have Laffranchi out by the looks (I think).

My two most hated teams. I wouldn't complain if the ground opened up and swallowed them both.
