New Team Colours

Out of the original colours the green and red are the ones I feel the least affinity to being put there to appease the original sponsor. Although wouldn’t surprise me to see more green for ONE.NZ as Vodafone were behind adding red back into the black/white colour scheme
By the way, although the green and red were there to appease DB bitter, the fact we already have Canterbury with Blue and white combo, expansion sides were often asked to add extra colors, as most of the clubs had similar combos, thus anyone new would have to differentiate, thus warriors adding the green and red, ended up a master stroke, coz I can't imagine them without it and when they went to black and silver or whatever the heritage colors wasn't, it really wasn't the same

Like the above post but I like seeing the Warriors in their different variations of black jerseys

I tend to think, if used properly, fluro yellow / fluro green / fluro orange could be a great presently-unused colour.
Fluoro tennis ball green, and black is the way to go, isn't there a 20/20 cricket team using that combo, looks good, I could see a PNG Scorpions team, using that

Yes, proper gold instead of yellow masquerading as gold. Wouldn’t mind seeing Hammers/Villa colours adopted by an NRL club one day.

There definitely was a bid pre-Dolphins.

There was a very public bid for the expansion that never happened early-mid 2010s, the same time Central Coast Bears were a thing. Since then the guy backing it had his company go broke and he has since passed away.

Not sure who put in a bid this time, Capras I guess but who knows.

As far as population goes, if a new Queensland NRL club was happening & not in Brisbane/Ipswich then it'd more likely be either Sunshine Coast (if the Dolphins can accept that) or Cairns (likewise with the Cowboys).

Central Qld just doesn't seem to have the population base for an NRL club.
