To me it was over when Canberra hit 16 - 0. The Knights do not have anything even close to resembling the strike-power needed to come back from that type of deficit. Not only that, but they clearly don't have the mental strength either to keep their heads in the game.

Canberra were excellent today, really deserved their win. WTF is going on with Newwy, forwards were very very soft.

I only counted one 50/50 that Newcastle received this afternoon. Canberra certainly receive 99% of the iffy calls, even some blatant ones.

One can only hope skeepe is as critical of the refs this week compared to weeks when they lose.

Great win raiders, when the boys in green are on song, they are certainly on.

FMD we need props. I could go on and on about how the best centre we have at the club is f**king 35 years old, or how we only have one player who is capable of kicking the ball in general play without it flying out on the full, but the buck stops at our pathetic excuse for forwards. They've been our problem all year.

Too many players in the forward pack who haven't performed since Smith left...Fa'aoso is a prime example. Then there's players like Tolar and Cross who have always been below par. Dropping young players like Edwards and Mika who haven't put a foot wrong to make room for these nuffies is just mind-boggling. There's a lot of talent in the backs, but until we get some decent go-forward, it's f**king useless.

Oh, and Uate is a freak...he is exempt from all criticism for that disgusting performance.

Yeah not sure what is with all the whining. I took my dad out to the game and he spent most of the drive back whining about how Monaghan could have done this, or Vidot could have done that.

FFS, the game was won in the first ten minutes and the result was never in doubt from that point on. I don't think you can ask for more than that.

It wasn't the attack it was the defence. This club has been stuck in a rut for a long time. I like any signs of movement in the right direction and this was certainly a large step that way (and apparently it was formally announced Dugan has re-signed at the ground ?? which is also a massive step forward).

Nobody is ever going to complain about a side wracking up 52 points. What I would have liked to have seen is the edge defence improving. It has been a constant issue with the Raiders for the last few years. Sides can go AROUND us very easily.

Still can't really fault the performance. Just for and against might come back to bite us.
