Got to agree with the comments in here about hoping this doesn't take away from the prep for game 2... I also agree that QLD won't play that bad again either.
We didn't score from a pass from our halves. That's their job and they both failed.
The selection of Buhrer was a waste. Watmough/Sims or prop (you know the real props not a re-badged 2nd rower) would have been far better. Not that I have anything against Buhrer, but less than 10 minutes game time is pointless. It is right up there with Tim Sheens not using DCE. Surely coaches have input into the general structures of teams they want. If they don't currently, they should be demanding it.
As much as I can understand where Ricky is coming from in this:
ANYBODY who saw Bill Harrigan's explanation for allowing the Greg Inglis try in yesterday's Daily Telegraph will know what I am talking about when I say it's difficult talking to the man - it's hard to get a concrete answer from him. His explanations come in riddles. He's never wrong. You never walk out with any meaningful outcome.
Even when you're convinced you're right, with the understanding of a game you've spent more than 30 years playing and coaching, he hits you with all this jargon and convoluted explanations detailing why he's right and you're wrong.

You can't change the outcome and you are not going to get a return on debating with this tool about why decisions were made. In the end he wasn't out there anyway. There were a number of dud decisions, but if NSW were as dominant as some believe, a crap try decisions should not impact the outcome. Dominance is when you romp home 56-16... But when it happens again, do it without the theatre please.
