10 to 1....analyst blows whistle on QLD magic carpet ride in game one

Got to agree with the comments in here about hoping this doesn't take away from the prep for game 2... I also agree that QLD won't play that bad again either.

We didn't score from a pass from our halves. That's their job and they both failed.

The selection of Buhrer was a waste. Watmough/Sims or prop (you know the real props not a re-badged 2nd rower) would have been far better. Not that I have anything against Buhrer, but less than 10 minutes game time is pointless. It is right up there with Tim Sheens not using DCE. Surely coaches have input into the general structures of teams they want. If they don't currently, they should be demanding it.

As much as I can understand where Ricky is coming from in this:
ANYBODY who saw Bill Harrigan's explanation for allowing the Greg Inglis try in yesterday's Daily Telegraph will know what I am talking about when I say it's difficult talking to the man - it's hard to get a concrete answer from him. His explanations come in riddles. He's never wrong. You never walk out with any meaningful outcome.
Even when you're convinced you're right, with the understanding of a game you've spent more than 30 years playing and coaching, he hits you with all this jargon and convoluted explanations detailing why he's right and you're wrong.

You can't change the outcome and you are not going to get a return on debating with this tool about why decisions were made. In the end he wasn't out there anyway. There were a number of dud decisions, but if NSW were as dominant as some believe, a crap try decisions should not impact the outcome. Dominance is when you romp home 56-16... But when it happens again, do it without the theatre please.

Its ok for the puppet coach to have an epic whinge which would make a plane load of Pommies seem cheerful. The never ending hipocrisy of Queensland continues!

BTW I am sure Sticky IS concentrating on game 2. Finally the NSW officialdom are doing their job - making origin fair again.

I dont know what form of pesticide someone laced your bong water with, but your last few posts make less sense than even Fourex's ramblings. Not a very good example of the Queensland Education system, Frank.

Somehow I thing you are warbling along to yourself though.

 FMD you are dense Misty.

adverb

1. at that time: Prices were lower then.

2. immediately or soon afterward: The rain stopped and then started again.

3. next in order of time: Misty made an absolute fool of himself, then did it again.

than
conjunction

1. (used, as after comparative adjectives and adverbs, to introduce the second member of an unequal comparison): She's taller than I am.

2. (used after some adverbs and adjectives expressing choice or diversity, such as other, otherwise, else, anywhere, or different, to introduce an alternative or denote a difference in kind, place, style, identity, etc.): I had no choice other than that. You won't find such freedom anywhere else than in this country.

3. (used to introduce the rejected choice in expressions of preference): Nobody could be dumber than that Mistytard.

Now run off and hide like you do every other time your stupidity is exposed.

When used in this instance, "education" does not need to be capitalised as it's not being used as a proper noun. If in fact you were referring to the, "Queensland Education System", then "Education" could indeed be capitalised, as you're referring to an organisation, hence it becomes a proper noun. It's hard to clarify, given you used the minuscule "s" in "system", and not the majuscule.

Your last sentence should read: "Somehow I think you are warbling along to youself, though." Though, how the word "warbling" works there I don't really know. Perhaps some better words may have been rambling, blabbering, prattling or gibbering.
