It would have to be pretty disappointing that an NRL squad let in two tries from a local ACTRL squad. Surely?

Didn't realise Western Suburbs Magpies were in the ACT comp now. The NSWRL and indeed the Wests Tigers might not be too happy with that.

It was essentially Raiders reserves vs a NSW cup side. And to be fair to us, we did have Brett Kelly playing, who was reportedly directly responsible for at least one of the Magpies tries.

Conditions were also very trying. Northbourne Oval where it was played isn't generally used for anything higher than U/16's in the local competition as, while it's a decent ground, it's not exactly the best. Add to that the fact that it was absolutely teeming with rain and I think it's a decent first hit out.
