100 game players does it help

Thought I would have a look at our players who are at 100 games, hearing how Fitz says they are building.
Let's compare this to the Panthers team who won in 2021 and games they were at ball park

Kennedy 105 vs Edwards 80
Katoa 111 vs Chricton 53
Talakai 107 vs Momirovski 38
Iro 22 vs Burton 32
Mulitalo 108 vs To'o 52

Back 5 not one player 100 games we have 4

Trindall 69 vs Luai 65
Hynes 98 vs Cleary 120

They par basically, yes Trindall a few from bench

Rudolf 100 vs Leota 105
Brailey 135 vs Koriseau 145
Kaufisi 115 vs JFH 134
Nikora 134 vs Martin 64
Wilton 82 vs Capewell 96
McInnes 202 vs Yeo 173

That is basically par

Atkinson 19 vs kikau 98
Williams 122 vs May 56
Hunt 74 vs Sorensen 58

Hazelton 42 vs Leniu 36

On the bench we have the covered in games bar Kikau

Overall in starting 13 we have we have them 9 to 5 in players over 100 games and yet we are still miles off them.
How long do we wait till we move to changing this up

I mentioned something like this earlier in the year.

100 games in you've got a pretty good idea of what a player is capable of.
It's rare to see anyone have a breakout year that deep into their career.

So if they are not in the conversation for rep teams by that time I'd be looking to upgrade in the not too distant future.

Plenty of our boys in that boat.

I dont know where you got those numbers from buthere is no way in hell that after 5-6 seasons , Luai has only played 65 games. Hes won 3 grandfinals & lost one. Thats 4 seasons right there , times 30 games a year 120.

No for Penrith but generally yes.

That Penrith crop is particularly special. They are doing something no team has done since... the 1960s??

So unless you can find a group of extremely talented 21 year olds that have been playing together since they were kids, it's best to rely on the usual standard.

The other question is: Are the Penrith players better now overall than they were with less than 100 games? I would say probably yes.

We have no origin players, our spine outside of brailey wouldn't be top 5 players, even brailey you could argue is maybe top 8, look at the f**king spines left in the comp and compare with ours. we punch above our weight most of the season.

Frenzy.
