What was his name?

Peter Blakeley. Had two albums, but no hit other than that one. Think he faded out in LA somewhere, still trying to make his 3rd album...

Depending on the way you look at it, Led Zeppelin's only real hit single in Oz was Whole Lotta Love....

Glen A Baker's favourite is In the Year 2525 by Zager and Evans.

But I think My Sharona is the number one "one hit wonder" of all time. That friggin' song gets played so often.

Hooked on a feelin' - Blue Swede is another worth mentioning. It was a hit a few times but they had nothing else.

Don't Worry Be Happy should really be the best one hit wonder of all time, for the simple fact that it doesn't actually feature ANY MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS at all. Every sound and note is from the mouth of Bobby McFerrin (who is very much alive and well and is now a conductor for some orchestra in USA) and he hates to sing Don't Worry Be Happy nowadays...

Remember that cruddy song in the 90's with the kids wearing back to front American Baseball clothing :?: :?: :?:

"Kriss Kross will make ya...JUMP! JUMP! Uh-huh! Uh-huh!"
