How is it a troll???

The Charity Shield gave us a glimpse of both teams for this year.
From what I saw, the Dragons, now with their added depth, will go very close to winning again.
From what I saw, the Bunnies, will finish mid field.

If that is a troll, you need your head read.

Surely being a souffs supporter already qualifies him for that.

Yeah, was going to say that he certainly hasn't made the instant impression that his brother did.

Lets be fair. George Burgess has went from playing in the under 20's in the UK to playing against an NRL side, thats a massive step up. He is also only 18.

By the time Burgess was coming to the NRL he was already a force in the ESL and had already dominated the Australian team. So he was always going to show a better first impression.

I don't think he will get anywhere near as good as Sam, just saying it's a different situation.

Edit:
They'll come last easily.

No halves. No depth. Backs that can't defend - Wesser

I don't think they'll come last but if tonight is anything to go by i would say they will be battling it out to make the top 8 rather than minor premiers.

Give it a rest guz.. you're a troll.

 I know you're troll but i can still tell how hurt you are that you lost to the dragons.

Wipe away the tears it was only a trial match remember? Once you get Inglis back it will be smooth sailing all the way to a premiership. Right?

Was great to watch the young guys given plenty of time. Stand outs for me were the 2 young hookers King and Rein, Bosden looks like a good hard tough forward might be able to secure a bench spot and Cuthbertson looks fitter and more composed. For Souths i thought Sandow was their best and gave them a spark and some of the young outside backs like Vai Vai and Farrell.

One things for sure we'll finish in front of you latte sipping homo's
You're supposed to read the ladder from top to bottom not bottom to top.
I suppose thats what you get used to after finishing down there so many seasons.

Chis Sandow is still the same little turd I saw running around in Queensland in the South Burnett comp the old shoulder charge serious he's so predictable its not funny.

The Dragons never got out of second gear and they treated it as a trial plenty of positves to come out of the game.

The Dragons on line for the TRIPLE!!!

NRL Premiership trophy
Charity Shield
World Cup Challenge

Here's what saints have in their cabinet to date
NRL premiership trophy
JJ Gilitain shield (minor premiership)
Anzac day trophy
Charity shield

Hopefully they can win the world club challenge in a couple of weeks.

In regards to tonights game you can't take too much out of it as it looks like Souths were hardly trying at all
However every try scorer for saints tonight was by a player that would of been lucky to get game time for saints last year

Jack Bosden also looked the goods busting the line but I still think it's early days

AHHHHHHH DERRRRRRPPPP

Is it the refs fault that your team can't tackle?
You should blame the players and and mostly the tackling coach.
Does Souths have a tackling coach?

I'm so stoked about Cuthbo. I dunno but there is just something that makes me want to see him do well and this game looked like a promising new beginning for him. A new look, a new attitude towards play, more effort. Great game Cuthbo!

Bunniesman has left the building.
Call the emergency hotline!

Good game to watch, entertaining albeit extremely one-sided.

liked the look of that Mitch Rein for Dragons, tough stocky hooker and also cameron king played quite well too.

hopefully see a bit more of those 2 in the Dragons NRL side this season.

no real standouts for souths for mine. Dragons were just too switched on tbh

only a trial....can only take as much as it was good for both teams to give juniors a decent run out of the match

Saints have to be the team to beat. Looked really professional which is all you can ask for in a trial but spanked the bunnies highly fancied pack.

fancied by who? The clueless people?

Only a trial, but it shows Souths are still a long way off the pace, Saints just steamrolled them tonight. I can't see much changing for Souths this year unless they tighten up their defence.

Is this the arrogance we are going to cop all year from Saints?

Sandow looks much improved, particularly his defence.

After the way Derp and BunniesMan have carried on all off season, I'm sorry to say that you'll cop this sh*t all season long from supporters of every club, even ones that in the past have liked Souths.

Please don't take it personally mate as I know from your contributions here that you're a decent bloke.

Any time you want to catch up to watch a game or to have a beer, I'm always happy to oblige.
