The Sharks were only better because they were handed momentum by some terrible refereeing. The Raiders were denied attacking sets three times early in the second half by incorrect calls, coupled with an incorrect try being given. I have no doubt in my mind that the Raiders would have won if those calls were made correctly.

Yeah it is, although now he knows that he is in for a rough time when he comes to Woolooware. Good footy player if he can get the mistakes out of his game.. I think he's not playing with all his marbles though.

we played terribly and didnt really test them much at all

I really like this chad townsend fella, quality young half. Sammy Williams didnt have his best game for us, its to be expected that he'll have games like that in his development. Thats probably the season for us, unless we can top both melbourne and saints in a row over the next fortnight but oh well.

As for the bloke who throw shite at Fergo... haters gonna hate, he's still a legend and that clown is still a dirty bogan nobody.

He had a bad game no doubt, but thats to be expected in a rookie year, Chad Townsend will have his fair share of off the pace games in his opening 20-30 games. Sammy Williams will have more in his next 20 aswell

I dont think a week in NYC will help him, nor after a bad game would it help Townsend to be shunted back to PL... stick with the young kids and give them a chance to redeem themselves.

I don't think Williams was horrible.

Both he and McCrone were getting the ball out wide well but the Sharks were up for it.

I think he just got frustrated in the second half.

Spot on. Referees were not even a remote factor. We just werent good enough, there are a number of reasons for that, but at the end of the night, the sharks were just better on the night
