Souths could have won today without turnstyle Sandow. I don't think i've ever see a player let in more tries than Sandow and Lui.

Just saw the "try" that Souths were rewarded by the video ref that Merritt flicked back.

Merritt's foot was clearly out and and touching the ground while his hand was touching ball.

That was an atrocious decision. Lucky it didn't cost Manly the game.

The video ref has to go.

@ everyone saying its always "next year" with us, yes we've had the squad to be optimistic the last 2 years like we will next year, but we haven't had the coach.Our coach is out of his depth in the modern game. The success Bennett, Bellamy and Hasler have had in the last 5 years proves that more than ever, a coach is so much more important than players.

Today we saw 2 teams that are equals in talent, but one had the discipline and defense of a top 3 coach, one had the traits that comes with a bottom 3 coach.

All that changes in 2012.

And It should have been 16-4 at half time. Rabbits had moments of excellence in the first half and came out swinging for the first 12mins of the 2nd half. But Manly were all over them for 85-90% of the match despite not playing their best football. Lol@50uff$ are a long way off being a top 4 team. When they are hot they look like a top 8 possibily and when they are off they look like specials for the spoon. That's why they are where they are. I can't see them making the 8 after watching the Sharks last night.

It was a bizarre decision, there was no doubt whatsoever that he was still touching it when he was out of play. And it didn't look like he grounded it properly and I thought the ball bounced out of the field as well. How was it a try?

Sandow's defence is hillariously bad. I think I counted 4 manly tries which were a direct result of Sandow either out of position or just incapable of tackling. Other than that he had a pretty solid game in attack.

I saw this as I was leaving the ground..... you're delusional if you think Souths were the better team for the first 60mins. The only reason Souths had any points at half time was because they were gifts from an equally delusional video referee. Souths did have a good 20min period after half time where they did score 2 legitimate trys but that was it.

In front of one of the best crowds at Brookie for a long time, Manly were just too good..... simple as that.
