Hayne costs the Eels again. Imagine my surprise... the Eels relying on him so much has started to cost them matches because he's clearly not a big moment player, crumbling under pressure time after time.

You have lost the plot, the only reason the Eels were in the position to win the game is because of him.

He took the intercept to score his try, he potted that field goal to put his team up 7-6.

The only criticism he should cop is having to do everything himself, and thats hardly criticism considering there is no-one there to help him.

Huh?

He scored all the points apart from the conversion so i dunno how it's his fault at all.

What do you expect him to do? He gets the ball and looks on his outside, on one side he had Atkins and Horo and on the other Morgan and Atkins. Any way you spin in those are four of the most inneffective backs in the game.

The one time he's been given the time and space by Robson, the worst halfback in the comp, he makes a break but there's no one supporting him.

Obviously i'm new here, but within 10 posts i've realized that you are a muppet.

No, I haven't lost the plot at all. When the game is on the line, Hayne goes to pieces. How many times does it have to happen before people start to see it?

He went missing completely last week at Penrith, when he only touched the ball once or twice in the entire golden point period (not to mention it was his awful kick that led to golden point in the first place), and last night a terrible decision gifts the Dogs field position to allow them to win the game. There have been probably two or three other games this year where Hayne going to pieces has cost the Eels a chance at victory.

He's a fine player no doubt, but apply the blowtorch and can't handle the pressure

I thought Eels first field goal attempt showed how inept they are and how much they rely on Hayne. Robson gets poor service from dummy half while setting up for field goal, so has to pass it to Hayne. He beats a couple while running across field, and puts in a perfectly weighted kick in-goal, in the other corner. Chase is woeful, allowing Turner to get out, but Hayne is there and puts Turner out.

From the next set he kicks the field goal, and they should win from there.

Parramatta are a mess though. Robson is ridiculously kick happy, and I actually saw a set where Moi Moi was first receiver, 10m out, on the 4th tackle. WTF

Copping a knock wouldnt have been the reason he went missing would it? and Glad you realise the eels have no one else out there that can create anything apart from Hayne...
