I guess taking the 2 is only boring when Saints do it...

I didn't say the Eels were exciting, I said the game was.

Just like yesterday's game was exciting despite St George being part of it. Also, last week in Canberra.

You can't say a last minute win isn't exciting for the neutrals.

Was it just me or on the majority of the occassions the Storm were defending, Steve Lyons as the pocket ref kept getting real close to the tackle demanding the Storm move and get up? I have no problem with that but when Parra were defending the refs definitely weren't doing it.

Sure the Storm have a reputation but you can't referee the ruck play differently for each side.

That was piss poor, if Parra were playing to make the 8 I'd understand, but their season is over. At least show the fans the respect of playing football and not kicking goals.

Did you see all our 'speedsters' out wide? How else were we going to score points?

Bad luck Parra.

Would've been nice if the refs actually reffed both sides rather than just blowing the whistle whenever the crowd wanted a penalty.

Honestly, I think Melbourne should lose the penalty count every week because they do hold down more than anyone else.

That said I thought Parra got all the calls tonight, so I can't complain.

Yep, noticed this as well.

Cam Smith MOTM imo, he was the best Storm player when they were losing and was definitely the difference. Moimoi was epic as well though.

Jesse Bromwich is a gun.

hahaha Parramatta.

Their next home game will have 4000 people there.

I thought NRL rules stated that all players of one side must wear the same uniform but Parramatta had two players wearing pink tonight so i'll have to re-check the rules.

Something I noticed, what's Uaisele's fetish with running across field 5m and being pushed back 1m from dummy half?

disappointed with the final result but not really upset. aside from the ben smith penalty call near the end we had the refs on our side for the first 75 minutes, and even then the cronk knock on with a minute to go was baffling.

we overachieved to even get to 18 nil so not too surprised we got chased down. happy with how the forwards dominated the game it was just the backs that let us down tonight. i guess that's to be expected when you have a backline of a fullback at five eighth, a halfback coming back from super league, two back rowers playing centre and two wingers that aren't even exciting at nsw cup level.

happy with the attitude the team put in again though, last couple of months the team has been putting in 100% every game which as a fan i can't complain about.

Gotta feel for Parra there. Should of put the game away but they always kept us in it.
The combination of Smith, Slater and Cronk is amazing. They know what eachother's doing all the time.
Lot of positives for Parra. Their defense was great at times.

Biggest difference is the mental strength of the Storm. Kept their compusure even after some dodgy calls and an 18 point deficit and knew what it took to win.
