escobar is right
for all the raiders v eels shite fight
the fact is in 2011 we're both shite teams and souths are marginally better with more motivation at this end of the season.

they are fighting for the right to get belted by the storm in round one of the finals... at least our sides have put us out of our 26 long misery
^^^^^^^ This.

When you look at who has the most:

26 Thurston
20 Marshall
19 Hayne
14 Farah
13 Foran
13 Pearce

You realise it's a pretty good indicator of how much quality a playmaker has.

You'll also realise that you've gone all year without a real playmaker.
as have we
we're both going to be better off in 2012 with Sandow and Camp on board... and so to will Dugan and Hayne, who have both had pretty poor years by their standards

Hayne is a quality playmaker. I don't think anyone has ever denied that fact. Dugan is a traditional fullback being thrust into the halves in attack because Williams and McCrone both work hard but on occasions become a little clueless.

Also one day a Raiders or Eels game day thread won't involve comparing Hayne and Dugan.....one day.

12 of those 18 were when the game was over and we noticeably relaxed. If we played the full 80 like we did the week before they wouldn't have scored more than 1 try.

Next Friday will be a very good test. If we can't beat a rusty Cowboys at home we're not a top 8 team. But I think we'll keep it up and beat them.

Change your signature then. No use thinking about 2012 when 2011 is alive.

I love how you think the Cows are 'rusty'.
Kind of a stupid thing to say when it'll be Thurston's second game back after being 'rusty' v the Broncos....and will have that game under his belt.
I'm really going to enjoy if it we win, because with our attack we'll rip your defence to shreds.

He's back from a major injury. Ever consider the possibility he might need more than 1 week to be back to his best? He might still be short of full flight on Friday. If Taylor, Crocker and co get in his face and rough him up early he might be unsettled and have another mediocre game.

Disappointing. The refs may have incorrectly gifted Souths 12 points and disgustingly robbed us of 6, blowing the margin to 18 points more than it should have been, but that was a pitiful effort from the Raiders.

I don't want to be too hard on them, because with all our injuries we never really stood a chance this season and we dont have anything to play for, but I can't all that much pride in the jersey out there. There are a few trying their guts out, and others that are playing with no heart. It's how you bounce back from a flogging that shows how much pride you have in yourselves and your club, so we should have come to play today. We didn't, and we were duly flogged.

If we lose to the Bitans next week we deserve the spoon.

I want to add a special congratulations to the Souths fans in The Burrow who sat behind us. It takes a special effort to be more disgustingly behaved than the Dogs Army of the early 2000's, but you achieved it today with flying colours. Well done you inbred wankers. You're a disgrace to the species.

FYI, the cows along with the tigers, both whom can beat any team on their day, are the only threats to the top 3

 You've still got to play us. So even if by some freak event you belt the Cowboys and the Broncos belt us, you've still got to beat us on Old Boys Day. We don't lose too many last home games for the year ...
You're assuming you'll beat Broncos and Bulldogs who could still be in the hunt by the time you face them

No, I don't.
Unsettled by Souths? After playing Brisbane and losing in front of a packed crowd? Please.
If you're expecting an easy game and heaping points on, you're in a for a rude shock.

The mighty South Sydney army. Any of those great individuals you came across in this photo?

According to our twitter this is our fans waiting for our boys to board the bus. Loyal fans we are.
