It makes a nice change when channel 9 actually has the foresight to pick the game of the week for Friday night.

Souths to pump the Knights. I've f**king had just about enough of Newcastle simpleton f**kwits going on and on about how Old Boys day is some kind of magic wand that makes their team the best team in the world for that day and immune from losing. It's a nice tribute to your club's history that more clubs should do, but it's not going to make you play any better on the field, and it's not going to stop Souths coming away with the win and the right to play finals footy.

Souths win 28-12

Well here we are. For the second year in a row South Sydney have their destiny in their own hands against a weakened opposition, other results having gone their way despite their own loss to the Broncos. Can they actually do it this time?

Hopefully Asotasi, Merritt and Sutton are back. G.I won't play I don't think...going to be a long drive back from Newcastle if we lose.

Yeah, except it's not...

The rest is the usual dribble from dunniesgimp, whom will go into hibernation around about 9:30 pm of Friday night, after the Knights terminate 50uff$. And he won't tune in either on Sunday afternoon for the real game of the week out of desperation of seeing two teams bound for the finals play, instead of the one which "by right" should be there...

Agreed. No excuses.

Newcastle are very beatable, fates in our own hands. Injuries are no excuse as Newcastle have some as well. Lang better get the boys pumped for a big win.

We got this.

 Where did we say we were "immune from losing on Old Boys Day"? We've got a proud history in final home games of the season, we're just stating facts. Unlike you, we're not deluded enough to think we're specials to win on Friday night, but we're in with a real shot. Since 2001, our record is as follows:

2001 - def Penrith 60-18
2002 - def Brisbane 40-10
2003 - def North Qld 34-26
2004 - def Wests Tigers 26-16
2005 - def Cronulla 44-14
2006 - def Penrith 40-4
2007 - def by North Qld 18-34
2008 - def Melbourne 17-16
2009 - def Penrith 35-0
2010 - def by Dragons 26-18

Now, that's a pretty impressive record when you consider of those two losses in the last 10 years, one of those was by the eventual Premiers last year ...

For the good of Rugby League, I hope and pray that the knights win this.

Although it would be funnt watching The Storm Smash Souffs in Week 1.

It's a terrific record, with some big wins thrown in for good measure. Knights 13+

It's okay boys.

The past few weeks the Knights have deviously been lulling Souths into a false sense of security. By now, Souths must think that all they have to do to win this game is turn up. Make no mistake though, the mighty Newcastle Knights will state their dominance on Friday night with a convincing win as they charge onwards to premiership glory.

Knights 26 - 16

8. Knights
9. Bulldogs
10. Souths

We got this.
