Haven't seen the game yet, but looks like Cows have some work to do as far as second halves go.

They have struggled to keep the points flowing this year.

Considering how many games last year we were up and then lost when the other team came back in the second half I guess I should be stoked we hung on, but really it can only last so long. Some good work in defence though, how was that effort by Bowen to stop that try. If we want to do anything this season we need to stop losing the second half so badly though.

I could care less about the penalty count, it was lopsided and imo undeservably so, but that thurston try being awarded was embarrassing. Everyone at home, in the stands, in the commentry box and Thurston himself knows he knocks it on and the referee awards it... he must have been the only bloke who didnt know thurston knocks it on

I hope furner blows 10k on that decision... he could blow another 10k on some others, but irrespective of this, we didnt play well enough to win the game and the cowboys played smart, exciting and expansive footy but were smart when they had to be. They got the win and they earnt it, they didnt need the aid from the referees they got

I think that game could have been a really good attacking spectacle. The refs did their best to sour that.

Whilst I don't think it had an effect on the outcome of the game, the refereeing was pretty terrible and the raiders have a right to feel hard done by, some of those penalties were embarrassing. I'm happy with the win and glad we hung in there, but the second half was a bit poo and we need to address that soon.

Hard luck raiders, you'll come good soon, I know it. you can take comfort in the knowledge that at least youre not lol@souffs.

We played better just had no territory early on and got blown off the park. Defence is still a huge worry, usually story of problems on the flanks, no idea why this problem is still there given it's been there since Henry was in charge.
