Not sure why some people are getting themselves into shit slinging matches when we haven't beaten them since 2008...never going to come out of it on top.

Bullshit. No way we deserved to lose by 14, the 18-10 score line before the Creagh intercept would have been fair IMO.

I thought the roosters played pretty well and did all they could to win but the Dragons defence was too good yet again. J. Carney really let us down in the first half by giving away a try and bombing a try.

If we play like that against other sides we will win more than we lose but once again it’s a case of lifting for good sides (albeit getting beat) and losing to sides we should beat i.e. Manly/Warriors.

Having said that we have been in every single game right to the end (except the Broncos) so hopefully a few wins are not far away.

You deserved to be down by 14 before the Pearce try.
Defensively our boys were outstanding and we deserved every point of that lead.

Agree against other sides, the Roosters likely would have scored more points.
With all the ball you guys had, and for us to be ahead by 14, I believe was a true indication of the difference between the sides. If anything I think the difference is greater. Saints were never going to lose that match after half time.

You guys will hammer the Titans next week if you play like that.

Everything goes in cycles, there was a period back in the mid 2000's when we struggled to beat you guys. It will turn around again.

And we got the premiership and have beat you lot comprehensively for the last 6 games... What is your point?

I'm disappointed with yesterday, usually your entertaining side struggles to score double digits against us.

You really shouldn't criticise teams that you have such a poor recent record against, it just makes you look like a fool. The Roosters were completely outclassed yesterday and we didn't even play well.

This. The roosters needed to turn that possesion in the last 10-15 of the first half into points to have a chance. As it was the defence was too good, although if Carney or Minichello had held onto the ball could've been a different story

Pearce will be lucky to play City/Country the way he's going.

Watched the replay: Roosters spent 11 minutes inside Saints half. In that 11 minutes the only thing Pearce did was inside pass & bomb - no points, & no repeat sets.

His intercept try is enough to keep him in a blues jersey. Sounds silly but could well be correct.
