The sh*test team verses the most depleted team. Should be a good game.

Honestly though, I'm predicting Canberra to win here. They're bound to start improving soon, and Newcastle seem to be physically incapable of playing well, let alone winning in Canberra.

Canberra are sh*t, but we play sh*t when we play in Canberra. A common theme happening here ...

All things considered, Canberra should win, and win well, despite how badly they're going.

Yep this is definitely going to be one sh*t game.

I'm spending time with family in Newcastle so I don't think I'll be jumping on foxsports 2 to hear Gary Belcher w*nk all over the green machine out of his commentary box again this year. I've got better options to keep myself amused over 80 minutes on a Sunday.

All things considered, Canberra should win, and win well, despite how badly they're going.

There have been games this year where I thought the Raiders should win, and win well, and they completely forgot they were supposed to turn up and play rugby league. The way this NRL season is going, I don't think you can place stock in "should wins". But if there was one game over the years you could count on for a "should win", it would be this one. I know because I used to live in Canberra and really hated my pilgrimage down to Bruce Stadium for the Knights annual touch up.

I'll tip the Knights out of loyalty and based on the small hope that Matt Orford may deliver us a win from a scrum feed but I'm not really enthusiastic about my teams chances based on the history and the severe extent of our injuries. God I wish Costigan was playing in this one.

Canberra to win. Skeepe to blame the referees regardless. Daniel Vidot talks about 'da hiiztori bitween me n da nights'. Insert drug reference, insert canine rebuttal.

Typical Canberra vs Newcastle game.

Oh look, Canberra get another 2pm game for the Canberra-lovers brigade to commentate.

Between Braybrook, Belcher and Woolford, there won't be a single dry spot on the walls of the Fox commentary box.

Be interesting to see if we can hold out the Raiders past the 3 minute mark this time round...

In the last 3 games in Canberra, the Raiders have scored in the first 2 minutes of the game and have been complete blowouts

Considering our record down there, depleted side, Dugan and Tongue back... cant see us getting within 20 tbh.

Dugan and Tongue haven't been named ;-)

Although it won't matter if they play or not. I'd just like to see us be competitive down there for a change.

in spite of Canberras' absolute sh*tness at the moment, i still can't see us winning in that cold arsehole of a place. nice and early in the year, we might be a shot if Orford plays.

Would be f**ken laughable if the Raiders can't fall over the line here, it's being handed to them on a platter.
