LOL @ the obvious reverse psychology Knights fans are spilling.

We've lost 5 in a row, guys. Get real.

Not sure what they mean by handed on a platter (although I understand Dugan and Tongue are strong chances of playing), but Canberra haven't lost to Newcastle at home in how long?

The scum's last win in Canberra was that horrible 32-70 loss. The Knights overall record in Canberra is 18 games for 2 wins, 1 draw and 15 losses.

And the game we beat u 70-32 you had to play pretty much your reserve grade side, while the knights fielded one of their strongest and most in form sides since 2002.

How is it been handed on a platter?

Playing a severely depleted side in a place where they get flogged every time they play there. + The Raiders are getting some quality players back which is sure to be a huge boost, while the Knights aren't getting anyone back. I wouldn't say handed on a platter, but everything is certainly in the Raider's favor.

It's not reverse psychology...we honestly just can't see the Knights winning.

I wish I was as confident as you about us winning.

I really havent seen much improvement in the Raiders over the weeks to suggest we could be favourites.

Thanks Raidersrawesome. Williams is a fine talent good to see him get a run.

Hope you guys manage to keep him.

Ww played last week (and possibly again this week) without our first choice 1, 6, 7 and 9, and the Knights are severly depleted?

The Knights were without (and have been since round 2) their first choice 9, 6 and 1 (yes Gidley was in the side but he's absolutely terrible in the halves)...first choice centre, 2 best forwards and their 3rd best forward had to play at hooker. Not too good for a team who's pack is already shithouse.

It's not the fact that Newcastle have 10 missing from their squad...it's more the importance of who's missing.

I get that you guys have lost players, and some handy ones at that, I just don't buy you using it as a (preemptive) exuse when coming up against a team with similar issues.

I'm not using that for an excuse. We've still wanted/expected the team to perform despite the injury toll. However the bigger issue is the fact that we never play well in Canberra, and we all think it will be even worse this year due to the injuries.

And yep I know the Raiders have had injury worries...but like I said, you guys are getting players back which will be a huge boost...we won't be.

We're not making excuses. Merely pointing out who we think will win. You don't always have to tip your own team.

eh the injuries have nothing to do with it for me, we could be full strength for all I care... we fail down in Canberra regardless of circumstances, big time
