Pearce has gone well in games 1 and 2, which means he's an automatic selection for game 3, and to my mind should be first in line for next year. I would like to see him playing better for the Roosters though. Leave the "only plays well in Origin" stuff to the rednecks.

He is a rock in defence for NSW, but he has little creativity for NSW or the Roosters. He and Soward arnt going to win a game like thurston or Lockyer, but no-one in NSW is capable in the halves. Defence from Pearce, kicking game from Soward is about limiting the damage of QLD and hope the forwards win the arm wrestle.
