8 point try... lol.

Full time 30-20 Panfers. New coach effect in full swing, knocking balls out of Cowboy hands all afternoon :sarcasm:

Well if this is a sign of things to come from Penrith under Georgallis/Gus then I'm happy enough, we look an exciting dangerous team with the ball. With Gordon and Tahu out and Jennings injury prone I think the new style will show our outside backs up as a massive weakness.

I thought James Segeyaro looked good for the cowboys first time i have really seen him play he reminded me a bit of Stanley Gene.

Penrith played well probably the best game we have been involved with all season. I was pleased with the expansive play if we can get Jennings back soon we should be very dangerous.

You got that right. Plenty of times they created opportunity on the edges where a speedy winger would have been away, but the slow Panthers wingers instead had to cut back inside where the defence was waiting and the opportunity was lost.

What, you mean we improved instanty now that we dropped that joke of a coach? Who would have thought? :sarcasm:

Pretty good performance from us this week. Walsh looked like a different player and Peteros opening try was just phenomenal. Incredible game from the big guy. It's clear Georgalis has given the boys a license to throw the ball around which is awesome. Very entertaining stuff.

oh well, good on the panthers I guess.

We have been rubbish for a few weeks now, the charade had to end at some stage. One of the shittest games I've seen JT play, I can't wait til we start getting some cattle back, Tonga, Tariq, Tate should add a fair bit more to us. Having no centres is hurting us, our left side in particular looked paper thin at times in defence. We need Tonga back ASAP.

Does the bye this week coming up count towards Tariq Sims suspension??? I am having a brain fart.

Well done Panthers

For me the best thing about that was the crowd at the game actually seemed to be enjoying the way we were playing rather than just the fact we were winning.

Can't wait till we have Jennings back in the side. Our backs are too slow for the new style of play and while they made good metres, having Jennings out there would have turned those good metres into linebreaks and potentially tries. If Georgallis can keep the team playing like this, I can't wait till we have Gordon and Jennings getting that sort of ball.

FMD Purtell is sh*t though. Yet some members over at PI still think he had a decent game with a bit of bad luck. They even had him picked as MOTM last week despite doing nothing except a few offloads. They must feel bad for him or something. If he's not our worst player on any given day he's playing above his potential IMO.
