It's only goal kicking (or lack thereof) that has kept Manly in this. Melbourne has thoroughly dominated every other aspect.

In the end though the lead is only six. We didn't capitilise on our play in that first half and it could come back to haunt us. Will we play as well second half and will manly play as bad? Not something i want to rely on when we could have ended it in the first half.

The beauty of Melbourne's second try was threefold -
- Matai squealing like a girl instead of marking up
- The karmic implications of a try off a clearly dropped ball (Get rid of the video refs - farce)
- Watmough charging at the ref, again, demanding a VR examination, only to have the joke of a try awarded anyway.

If it keeps going like this in the second half it will be a massacre. Half time was probably the worst thing for Melbourne.
