The great thing about tonight is that the team that came to play football won, and the team that came to niggle and play dirty - dirtier than any team I've seen this year - lost.

Doggies sledging won them that game. Ennis and Reynolds got in Watmough, G Stewart, King and a couple of others heads and that was the ball game. Watmough in particular was more interested in winning the verbal than the actual game. Game plan out the window and two blokes on report as a result as well.

When Ennis was off Manly settled a bit and played some decent footy. As soon as he came back, the talking began again and Dogs gained the ascendancy again.

Manly ignore the talk, shut their own mouths and focus on the footy they would have won that game.

I believe Kasiano was named MOTM at the ground, at least that's what I thought I heard. Hard to tell what the ground announcer is saying through the TV though.

Geez, I thought he was the third best Bulldogs prop tonight. Kite and Lussick were better than him as well.

Can i jusy say this... I want to do give bit of credit to dogs supporters. I havnt been to a dogs games in years due to previous experiences. I don't know what they've done but they gotten rid of a large majority of there dick head supporters. Everyone I came across was there to enjoy a good game of footy ( debatable if we got that) but you were all gracious in victory and are just enjoying your footy team playing well. Credit to you. I hope you got the same respect back from our mob. If I were the storm, rabbitohs or the cowboys I would of loved that game. Dogs way better but neither side is the bench mark if that's all they got.
I hope we see you again gf day dogs. But I'm doubtful if that will happen.

Cant decide if both teams simply played rubbish or if both teams only played as well as they were allowed by the opposition.

I think it was the former.

Manly in trouble if Lyon is out and i'd say with Matai's rep he will cop a week (kingy should be fine though)

On a side note, is it just me or did the bulldogs think they were playing soccer...........staying down at every opportunity

I reckon it was the 2nd. Both teams would have been a lot better off just playing footy. Manly came out and wanted to bash the Dogs and it nearly worked to the detriment of the spectacle.
