Have a feeling Souths will win this match. Melbourne at home will be tough to beat however.

I felt like we could have taken them early in the year but we lacked maturity and time to grow into Maguires game plans

Looking forward to the papers pitching the master versus apprentice battle here

I think Inglis will have his best game ever in the red and green? First time ever against his old squad as a fullback

I can see Souths getting up here. The Storm have been showing plenty of effort in the last few weeks but their execution is a long way off what it was in the first half of the season.

Will be a close one...Souths will try and smash Storm in the middle of the park.

Watch for Cam Smith and Hinchcliffe to dart out of dummy half to tire the big Souths pack.

No Chambers, Ryles is a big negative for Storm.

Storm by 6...

couple of weeks ago , this was the final clash i most feared. However i now believe that Souths have done well to draw Storm for their first finals game. Souths by 7

Close one but I can see Melbournes experience and big names getting it done in the crunch. Only by two points or so.

Storm easily IMO. They'll lift a gear here and take it to Week 3.

I'll go the storm in a close one. Plenty of finals footy experience in the storm squad and is always tough in melbourne. They have been off the last few weeks but still doing enough to win and have the right type of squad to lift a few gears when it's required.

Will also throw out a 40/20 to cronk prediction while he is kicking it away from Inglis to cut his metres down

Melbourne generally don't do that great against big packs

Storm will have too much class and options for the rabbits. Won't be easy but they'll prevail
In the end by about 10

Will be an arm-wrestle, but if Storm can shut down GI early they should have the depth to win it. Storm by 2.

Having a look at the respective teams, and man, we have it all over the Storm in the forwards.

Lima & Smith would make our pack, that's it. I think Sammy Burgess and Dave Taylor will have a field day.

If they do that, Inglis will have all the time in the world to run rampant.

The master's reign is over, it's time for the apprentice.
