The problem isn't the rule, its the refs. Pretending the rule was removed, its already around 10 penalties for each team. If the average is around 6 times for each time, that would be perfect.

I think a common sense approach would be 1 reset of tackle count per set, next infringement would be penalty. A way of implementing advantage.

Must say Pritchard looked good and had a great try, Barba looks like he has correct his problem under the bombs and looks dangerous as always. Merrit has been great. Bird has been ok, Gallen is going ok, Lahrs has been the best forward on the field. Lewis has played well so far in his limited minutes. Hindmarsh is trying.

Some big names have done nothing at all Blair, Marshall, Hodges, Watmoug, Idris etc have done little to nothing.

Vatuvei has had a SHOCKER.

Sandow looks horrible.

Is Reed even playing or Tate?

Snowden looks shithouse too.

Hargreaves has done a bit more then nothing, hes given a few penalties. That's it.

Agreed with most bar the Bird and Sandow comments. Bird has been great and Sandow decent, tell me where he made a bad tackle or defensive mistake or where his kicking and passing were faulty?

I've enjoyed the game, but FMD I am not looking forward to the season proper with Channel 9.

I never said the rule was the problem - just the way - already that it is being enforced - TO A BULLSHIT LEVEL - is that what we could expect each and every game - I reckon so - imagine jason robinson having control over that rule - or tony archer - or shane thw paine hayne - it dont get any better
