A I said, if a defender rushes out of the line and takes out an attacker whose nowhere near the ball he'd get penalised every time. Decoy runners are deliberately getting into an offside position and it should be completely up to them to avoid contact at all costs with the opposition IMO, just like an offside defender does

Yeh, but he is the captain...meaning Widdop wouldnt walk into the side irrespective that he is a better half which is what I said.

I know but most teams by now have set combinations and some would be too proud to move them. If it was picked on talent he would be. BTW I did say he would walk into the 13.
