Carney has been one of the most involved.

Yes, one kick when dead, but he has threatened, threw the last pass for a try, forced errors with his kicking, been at the front of every kick chase, been the best distance kicker for NSW, and defended well.

He was very ordinary in the first game, but he has been much better. He can probably still improve, but compared to a very long line of 5/8 games from NSW players (including his first game) his game tonight has been good.
