We have won 7 of the past 9 against Penrith. If we play like we did against Manly a few weeks ago we will thrash them. If we play like we did against the Cowboys and Bulldogs we could get rolled.

If Saints are serious about being a genuine contender this year, they need to win this well. They will need to lift enormously though, Penrith are a dangerous side

Andrew Webster has just tweeted this...

Bad news coming out of Penrith training. Travis Burns did his ankle. Carried off the field. Pennies can't take a trick

Panthers= joke of a club. Drop Jennings our only strike weapon when we are getting lapped every week?? really? Oh well looks like we play Dragons back into form this week...

If Taumata plays Panthers win and Austin is a Supercoach star this week.

If Burns is deemed fit they get belted

Good joke thommo

Not joking buddy.

I was down at Centrebet Stadium last Saturday night, as my young bloke was playing in a match before 1st grade came on the field.
Stayed around for the match.
Penrith actually played ok, Melbourne got some late points to blow it right out, but we aren't playing anywhere near the level Melbourne play at.

Teams are in. Interesting selections both sides of the coin there.

Post #1 with the teamlists and refs.

Dragons by 12, if we actually show up with the right attitude. If not we'll get beat.

If the reason for dropping Jennings is due to a poor attitude or breaking club drinking rules then i think Ivan has made a good, brave decision and sent a strong message to the rest of the playing group that "we might be getting spanked every week, but nobody is above getting dropped if i dont think you're putting in". By giving Jennings a kick up the arse he is subsequently, and indirectly giving a kick up the arse to the rest of the team.

I dont see the Panthers winning this one, but a committed attitude, me thinks.
