Based on our last 2 efforts V NQ & pennies, coupled with the loss of Creagh, Merrin, Scott, Prior, Weyman, Fien we'll field and second string pack. TBH our first rate pack would struggle to have any impact.

We'll get smashed this sunday.

We have played large chunks over the past two years without our main forwards.

In fact, last year when we beat Saints in Wollongong, we had to play Corrigan as a starting second rower (I just threw up in my mouth a little).

No doubt Pricey will be giving them a rocket this week, and we saw what that did to Penrith this week.

Combined with that, we are down on a few of our best and we have not won at Jubilee since 94.

Saints fans are slashing their wrists, but it is round 10 and you are 2 wins out of second place.

I will be happy if we can get out of there with the two points, and move on to next week.

Pricey needs to give himself a f**king rocket.

You are almost guaranteed the 2 points Ziggy, I can't see us getting close to you.
Really we should be on 8 points, the get out of gaol card played on Anzac Day hid some of the cracks in our team for a few weeks. We haven't played a decent game of footy since we beat Manly.

I don't doubt we will now be tipped to win because of the number of guys out and your form is down some.

I can't even remember the last time we would have been favourites against you to be honest.

This could get really, really ugly for us. Soward back will be a boost but on current form, it'll be Bunnies 13+

I think we've just become too used to expecting good things over the last 3 years. Reality bites and it hurts. As I said earlier, I am actually thinking bad thoughts for the first time in a few years. However as a 40 odd year veteran fan (I even saw Souths win their last Premmy Ziggy, in fact their last four, how about that?) it's not something that's uncommon. It's just not been the case for a little while now.

Honestly mate even if we didn't have the injuries or Origin players out, you guys would give us a belting.

We are in for an absolute hiding in the coming weeks, I'm just not sure which team it is who will belt us really badly.

You guys will beat us, then we'll lose to Parra.

We just can't score points. Our defensive pattern is nothing like it was the last few years, the club has gone downhill very badly since mid last year.

I mistakenly tipped us, looks like I wasn't the only one.

How could anyone tip us.

Souths by 20+

I am 100% certain that the only thing on my mind back in those days was when I was going to get more boob, so unfortunately the wrong era for me.

Of course there is going to be disappointment after a golden run of years that you have had when they are not playing to that standard. You had the best Coach that took a team that had been close, up that last step.

I know people bagged Browny, but even your old Coach admitted that the club was in great shape when he took over. Now you have a new young Coach, and it will take time for it to gel.

All I know is that I have met him a few times, and he is no dope. He knows his stuff, and is a great bloke. It was always going to be tough to follow Bennett for a rookie, but I hope he succeeds (even though it the Saints).

That said, you can start improving after you play us. No need to start so soon.

We are not exactly stemming points either.

If we get a sunny Sunday game, I bet it is a high scoring game.

You may lose, but you will get some pies too.

i will be disappointed if souths win by less than 13.time to step up , even without Inglis and Taylor against a weakened stg. a game which will test Madge's ability.

Would've rather faced the Dragqueens after a win. The only good performances your guys have put up have been after losses this year

The only way souths have looked like scoring points this year is through inglis and Taylor. However considering saints are going to be missing 37 forwards it's hard to see them getting up

Scored plenty through Everingham, and kicks from Reynolds. Also been lacking our try scoring machine Merritt for most of the year. He always combines well with Sutton and Luke, expect lots of short offloads there after one of those two poke through the line

I was comfortable backing the Dragons but after last night and the extra injuries it's gonna be that little bit harder.

Souths 1-12.

I'll be surprised if Cooper plays for us also.
He was injured out there last night, looked like his ankle injury had flared back up.

True everingham has filled in well for Merritt

Scoring lots of tries by catching the ball and falling over the line

It's almost like Merritt never left!

f**k off Vic.

On topic, happy with the 17 Maguire has announced. Hunt is a talent and has earnt his chance, and stoked to see L Burgess fit again.

If Luke is fit for this game it means we'll only have 1 member of our regular first 17 injured. Can't remember the last time we've been in that situation midseason. About time we got some luck.

Merritt is a fine replacement for GI. Hunt is a fine replacement for Merritt. Sam Burgess is a fine replacement in the starters for DT. L Burgess is a fine replacement on the bench for Sam.

Like I said earlier, this is the sort of game we must win if we're going to be where we want to be going into September.
