Well, it's clear Souths don't have the mentality yet to play finals type football. Still got a long way to go this season.

Hahaha, tabs talking about souths being a force in September??? Seriously, where do these idiots come up with this garbage
Because some people aren't biased haters like the majority of people on LU.

7-0 in Sydney since round 1. 7-2 overall since round 2.

Since round one our only losses have been outside of Sydney against Melbourne, Brisbane and NZ. So away losses to the teams that will finish top 2 and another top 4 contender.

We've beaten good teams including the Sharks, Cowboys and Bulldogs.

I wouldn't have us as favourites but to dismiss our chances completely is just the bias talking.

We played down to the level of our opposition and still easily beat them.

A more accurate indication of where we are at will be next week against the Dogs.

That's the problem i'm talking about. That inconsistency. It's a mental thing, it seems.
Those crap teams won't be there in September.

We've played average against the few crap teams we've played but we still beat them. And to go with that we've won our fair share of games against teams in the 8.

And you want consistency? How is 7-0 in Sydney since round 1 for consistency?

Nothing much you can do but laugh at that game from our perspective.

Does Taylor do anything other than run at outside backs?

DT is not a typical forward. His unique skillset would be wasted down the middle. Any 100+kg lump can take a hit up for a few metres.

His foot speed and agility combined with his size is deadly on the edges.

And I reckon he plays by a simple rule: "Hey, Dave. Run at noone over 85kgs or 6 feet. Cheers, Dave".

98% of statistics are made up.... In other words, you can pull whatever figure you want out of your own arse to suit you.

But, I agree, the Dogs v Souths game will be a good match up of two teams - in OK form - who have turned their teams around from last year under different coaches.

When Croker and Williams leak as many tries as they do, can you blame them?

That's all an opposition coach needs to say, run at Croker and Williams and you win.

Did channel nine actually announce the result of the Storm/Broncos game at the end of the first match?:|
They did the same in the Storm/Broncos game as it was live in QLD, they announced the result in the Raiders/toothless dole bludgers match.

I have bought a full premium membership. So I'm supporting my team to the maximum extent financially. And I get to as many games as I can. I often have commitments to friends and family that I can't cancel to go to the footy.
