He inherited a top 8 side, and instead of recruiting to improve the side he brought Boyd and Cuthburtson, a Fullback and Backrower, which is arguably our deepest positions.

Gidley, Naiqama, Naiqama, MataUtai is very good FB depth.

Housten, Hilder, Edwards, Taia, McKinnon, Costigan is not made any better with the addition of Cuthberston.

A few props would have made more sense.
