Good fight back in the second half by Dragons. They really lifted.

Lots of work to do from us, though. But we fought it out and we should be proud of that.

I don't think Lane is anything special but I can see why Des picked him. He looks like a pretty safe option. Just your typical average winger who seems to be able to do the job.

First half was pretty excellent. Second, not so much. We had very little field position and the Dragons lifted big time. We couldn't stop their offloads or passes and our defence was dreadful in open play. Goal line defence was pretty good as always, but the gaps in general were so bad. We looked so shaky.

First half we dominated it all, including the penalty count and I'll say I think a couple of iffy calls went against the Dragons but the refs sure made up for it in the second half.

All in all, a win is a win but it was nothing to write home about. Des will have them primed for the Storm next week.

It's blatant racism. There is a long history of white people describing black people as alike, lacking distinguishing features and being animal like. That's not to say that the person who said it is a racist, I'm not a mindreader and don't know what he's thinking.

But the comment is insensitive, racist and offensive.

It is offensive to anyone with any clue about history.
