We got smashed by the refs but we were never going to win anyway

This was the sort of tricky fixture where a top 4 aspirant winning it doesn't tell you much but tells you ALOT if that wannabe top 4 team loses.

There was simply no way we could lose if we had any intention of getting where we want to be. I'm just glad we won, suffered no injuries, only let in 2 tries showed consistency and no "brain fade" which has been a habit of ours.

Hopefully a sign of things to come.

Ignoring the imbecile, I watched a replay of this game yesterday and it was a quality game of footy. Penrith did awfully well to stay in the contest as long as they did. Souffs looked very impressive when they put their foot down.
