Interestingly, this is only the 2nd time (first time in 6 yrs) that we will be playing 50uff$ at ANZ Stadium. I was at that game 6 yrs ago and it was like a ghost-town inside ANZ Stadium. Only about 8000 or so ppl were there. I don't know why 50uff$ didn't take this game to Gosford, where they have a very good record against us.

For some reason they're taking their R23 clash with Manly there :?

I brought up the stats to show why we can be confident. 9-1 in Sydney since round 1. 5-1 against non top 8 teams.

Knights fans are equally as arrogant based on far more flimsy reasons. A string of losses followed by 2 wins against questionable opposition (emotionally questionable in the Tigers, and just plain shit in the Eels).

Besides NZ in NZ we haven't lost to a non top 8 team since round 1. And besides losing once to a very good team in the Dogs, we haven't lost in Sydney in that same period.

So Knights fans confidence is based on 2 mediocre wins in a row. Our confidence is based on consistency against teams like the Knights and consistency in the city we're playing this game over a number of months.

And the poll count suggests it's more than just Souths fans who are confident in a Souths win.

Where did I say that it is a fact we will win? Obviously we're talking about a future event, anything can happen. Just that based on our stats against similar opponents and our record in Sydney and our relative positions on the ladder we should win and I'm confident we will win.
