All I'm pointing out is that's it's a lot harder to show up and play good footy week in week out, with the added pressure of premiership favouritism.

Some teams crumble under the pressure, some thrive on it.

The tiges are finding out about that right now, so far they haven't looked real good.

Could be a factor


I suppose the big test will come when we are so far ahead that the TAB pays out on us being minor premiers, only for us to fall flat on our face and miss the top 4

The tab never paid out on any such bet

How were the tigers ever favorites to win the comp? Even against a depleted Manly with the ref on their side they still came up short. They need a full back asap.
Tigers missing Galloway and Ellis for half the match as well, pretty even on the depleted stakes.

And it's Round two. Premierships arent won or lost yet.

Missed the match, just saw the highlights. Seemed a bizarre call on Heigington in what looked like a shepherd when Manly got that penalty goal.
