lol - I love how when the Warriors win there's usually a fairly hefty case of sour grapes.... we got lucky with the McIntyre system last year, we usually win off the back of dud referee calls, and now the biggest furphy, if Jarryd Hayne who has been only the standout because he plays in a dud side doesn't get injured, they go onto win as well. Warrior fans could easily trot out their list of injuries to their foward pack, but their depth usually turn up and get the job done anyway.

Turn it up mate, your boy started it by talking s**t about the opposition.

Hayne was breaking away before he went down.

lol No sour grapes at all, I don't support the Eels.

I actually tipped the Warriors in my online tips, but in my opinion if Hayne was on the field Parra would have been a completely different side.

I thought Parra were outplaying us a lot of the time even after Hayne went off. Close game imo, scoreline notwithstanding.

You would notice I'm not just talking about this game.

Hayne was getting caught, no problems. Not even a concern.

Hayne was ready to bomb one in the corner while trying to do a superman dive for the highlight reel.

If you care to review the tape, Locke was 3-4 metres in front of Hayne coming across on the angle, and I also don't think Hayne appeared to be quite at full speed coming back from injury and all.

I can understand why people think that Hayne going off changed the complexion of the game, but seasoned observers of the Warriors will realize that they sometimes start games like that, they'd hardly touched the ball at that stage, and they were always going to pose Parra problems once they got some ball.

The only difference after 70 minutes was goal kicking.

I struggle to see how us having our best player on the field wouldn't have changed that. He touched it once in your 20 and we scored from it.

You scored a couple of long range tries at the end because we were fckd after playing almost the whole game with a 3 man bench.

I don't think we definitely would have won had Hayne played the whole game but i know the game would have gone differently.

Anything could have happened, we might have been inspired to play better, might have had to chase down more of a lead, etc. We did enough to win. At times in the second half we played very conservatively because we had a lead.

I'm just saying, the Warriors started slowly, got no ball in the first 10 minutes and made a couple of terrible reads on the edges. I guess from a Parra perspective you perceive it as Hayne being the difference whereas a Warriors fan will see it as a typical sloppy start. Maybe we would have lost, but Hayne or no Hayne I think we were definitely the better side.
