I understand Archer's call... in that once the video ref told him it was stripped it's now just a decision on whether the player had downward pressure on it... I don't though get the refs call, call. You can't call that a strip, the blokes making a fair dinkum tackle. He's also I don't think fully sighted of the ball. You can tell a strip, the bloke intentionally goes for it, I don't think thats a strip for your life - poor ball control, should have been no try.

Exactly. I hate how teams get rewarded for poor ball security. And that is the worse sort of reward; 6 points. The refs should use common sense. Archer has absolutely no common sense. Anyone with common sense would have disallowed that try.

He bounced up in the tackle there, he should be allowed to reach out....if he hadn't bounced and completely stopped then I would agree. That was momentum, it should have been a try.

Well EVERYBODY needs to understand there is nothing in the rules stating that you have to have control of the ball when forcing it. That is an imaginary rule that the tv comentators invented.

Tony Archer explained the reason it was awarded and under his interpretation he is correct.

Tony archer rewarded sh1t ball security with a try. Every man and his dog knew that was no try.

He grounded the ball short of the line, then lifted his arms and reached out for the line when the rest of his body stopped moving forward.

Of course he had momentum.

The Knights defence this year is a million times better than anything we have seen in the last decade.

The rules need to allow the refs to make decisions based on common sense, otherwise we see farces like this game.
