A nice firm and rounded game by the Tits with a few hard points in the middle as well ... not particularly well-oiled at the outset but managed to stay upright for the entire 80 minutes.

Although they will have some knockers

Tonights game was the perfect demonstration of why the Roosters didn't deserve to play finals before it was guaranteed that they wouldn't. Easily the most undisciplined side in the NRL. Brian Smith is coaching a rabble.

I've said all year the Titans have a better team than their ladder position shows. They still haven't got it fully together, but if they can click over the last few rounds, they could make a noise in September. Next two weeks coming up against Souffs and Melbourne should show us how genuine they are.

A rabble he created - he has to go

It was funny game really. The Roosters dominated the game for the first thirty minutes and managed to go into half time losing 10 v 12. How can you dominate a game for 75% of the time and be losing on the scoreboard. It shouldn't be possible, but for us it is.

The Roosters got four or five penalties during that period - yet by full time we had managed a total of six to the Titans ten or more. Was it me? Did the Titans go from being a really badly behaved team to being angels just like that? I don't understand how that works?

The Titans completely dominated us from the start of the second half for at least twenty minutes and then we found some form. We were 16 v 24 down on the scoreboard and we shifted right and got outside the Titans. The last pass was flat out of the hands and floated slightly forward. It was the sort of pass you often see when shifting wide and one in fifty is ever called up - ours was. Never mind the fifteen or so worse passes thrown last night, that was the one they decided to pull up. Moga was clear to the line and we would have been back within two points and confident.

But as always happens with the Roosters, as soon as something went against them they compounded the problem by giving away a penalty and conceding a try so a two point deficit became a fourteen point deficit and the game was over. Well apart from us dropping our bundle so much we had to concede yet another try before the siren put us out of our misery.

Story of our season. Even when we managed to get ourselves into a game, we find ways to lose them (with a bit of assistance from the officials).

Now sing after me Rooster fans

We're SHIT and we know we are, we're SHIT and we know we are, we're SHIT and we know we are, we're SHIT and we know we are..... etc etc etc
