tough game as expected with the Knights.
By rights we should not get another OLD BOYS night game for at least 15 years!!!

Our defence was great in both halves and to hold the Knights to Nil in the last 40 minutes was huge , especially going into finals. thought our kicking game , especially in second half against the wind was brilliant!

also pleasing , that we did not drop our bundle after a couple of bad ref call against us.Good to see the team absorb that extra pressure.

hope this is the last time Souths are scheduled for this game, Old Boys Day , at least for next 15 years.
Souths will have to play very well to win against a revved up Knights, happy with 1 point win and no injuries.

I have been told by people in Souths that the Knights have locked this game in for the next few years. Better get use to it.

Not much to say really.

Souths weren't that great, but they were better than us. Our sideways attack looked awesome, as did the "here you go, I don't want the ball so you can have it" gameplan. Worked a treat.

However, our defence was good and after making 90 extra tackles and having 8 goal-line dropouts to 1 eventually took it's toll. Souths should have won by more though.

Oh well, next year.

An embarrassing performance yet again. This team would have to be the most pea hearted Knights side I've seen. I feel sorry for Buderus for having to captain such a pathetic side.
