The standard of Rugby League has been alarmingly poor this week (so far)

Manly are the smartest team in the comp. Only rivaled by Melbourne. Lyon and Foran knew that was the only play in that instance and it came off perfectly.

I say this just about every week but Manly = most favoured side by the refs week in week out

Blatant rake goes unpunished, Manly get a penalty that no one knows why, and Manly score.
Lyon has been in the pricks ears all night and it's starting to show.

Phil Haines was everywhere in that try for Manly. He ignored Foran's blatant strip. Then he gave a penalty to Manly when they lost it cold, which led directly to a try.

He's been their best so far tonight. That offside at the kickoff penalty where nobody was offside was another great play that almost led to a try.

f**king disgusting.

greg bird is really a blight on the titans. nearly every game he will either give up a penalty or give up possession milking for a strip.

honestly....manly are the favs for the comp with dogs/souths not far behind. they play with great form and a fast defensive line. when theyre hitting theyre pushing the player back.

hard to see them being beaten unless their opposition is on fire. i can only see the dogs doing that with their teamwork...or the bunnies on the back of individual brilliance by inglis/merritt. storm are a chance, but theyre shown to have holes also.

If Manly continue their roll-on in the 2nd half, who thinks they will ease up to not win by 36?

A 36 point win sends them (probably) to Melbourne and leaves us to play the Dogs but I think they won't want to go to Melbourne.
