In my opinion I don’t see the Couchmans playing many games together this year. If all players are fit Lidde & Sele will definitely take up two bench spots . If we get Klemmer then he’ll take one if he doesn’t start .

That leaves 1 spot between Eisenhuth, RFM, Couchman, Egan. Stewart, Loko, M Molo (outside chance ) Lawrie (outside chance)

I do think Loko will eventually jag a spot so it’s a good battle to have
Ray for me in the 17.

You'd think Ryan's 116 metres and 31 tackles gets him onto the bench. That's the kind of workrate we need and as I said before he hits hard in defence. Stewart was good against the Roosters but struggled a little against the Bunnies when they lifted. Loko makes good metres but less effective in defence but if we don't get the Klemmer deal sorted before round 1 and Eisenhuth is still out then Ryan and Loko could well both be on the bench.
It’s bloody excellent that players are producing. Comp for spots. Next man up mentality.

Winners mentality.

Unless C T can play right wing I can’t see how he gets selected because Finau should be a lock

If he can’t then the door opens wide for Feagai

I guess if he doesn't maintain that, there are other options, right?
Absolutely.

He lacks pace and has some head scratching moments, but he’s been dependable in the trials, has nice feet on the right side flank with his step favouring that (as you saw for example Ilias try) and his carries are robust.

If TS wants in, he needs to out compete him in the fundamentals and fit for purpose.

To me TS obviously catches the eye more because he looks good when he does things, but comparatively with fundamentals, mentality, physicality and staying in the game mentally, he falls short.

My scout only.

I have Finau with Fegai to start the year just based in trials. CT right down their necks and just getting minutes up in Cup. Then Sloan.

Allen, Rumble and of course Lawson, who has the most upside of all of them, again, imo.

Jesse Williams to watch in Flegg and maybe even miracle man Cody.

Cody has the game in him, I just don’t know if that can carry his reduced physicality to elite NRL level.
