Broncos pack still looks bloody strong even with Parker missing. Our pack is going to have to aim up big time so we can take advantage of Mullen's long kicking game.

Out of loyalty I'll say Knights by 2. But this could go either way. I was hoping the Broncos would be ordinary in attack this year with Lockyer gone, but I don't think that will be the case. They're definitely still a top 8 team (not convinced yet they're top 4 material).

But there is one thing that could get us home, and I've summarised it in the song below...

The Gerard Beale Song:

Pay, we say paayyyy-ooooo
Kick Broncos a** and we send them home!

Jarrod Mullen say Knights win come...
Win will come when we drop the bomb
Put up bombs til Beale knock em on
Win will come when we drop the bomb

Come Mr Beale, turn over that ball
Jarrod Mullen gonna bomb his wing
Come Mr Beale, turn over that ball
Broncos cry when we drop the bomb.

Lift one bomb
Two bomb
Three bomb four!
Uate will have fun when Mullen drops da bomb.
Six bomb
Seven bomb
Eight bomb GONE
Wedgie Missile knocking at your door.

Pay, we say paayyyy-ooooo
Take two points when we win at home!

Beale to catch everything launched at him. Tahu to have another 'brain snap'. Broncos by 12.

On paper the Broncos arguably have the best pack in the competition but they haven't measured up yet. Hopefully with Petero starting, Sammy into the backrow and some of the cobwebs dusted they'll aim up but based on what I've seen dare I say both packs are very even going into this game.

I don't think the game is going to be the best exhibition of attacking Rugby League but I expect it will be close and we'll all be on the edge of our seats. I'm sticking with my Brisbane by 8 prediction but like you SK it's out of loyalty.

Just a reminder for both sets of fans, at 8:30pm (NSW time) FoxSports are replaying the Round 9 2006 game between the Knights/Broncos. Helluva game and well worth checking out.

Brian Carney at his best, great game. Boyd would have been still just a raw winger too.

This one I'm picking the Knights by 8 but only based on it being in Newy. It'll be a close one and whoever wins the forward battle will win. I just hope ours show up and improve on last week.

Snowy to get MOM.

Starting to lean towards a big Broncos victory, 28-12

Jimbo's a turd burglar

You've lost your mind.

Having now finished stating the obvious ...

I really expected us to play a much more conservative style this year, and utilise what I have no doubt is the best pack in the comp. But we really haven't tried bashing our way through opposition as yet. I confess to only seeing 20 mins or so of Cron vs Newc, but in Round 1 Newcastle looked flimsy up the middle to say the least. Small and brittle. C'mon pigs, bash the crap out of them.

I hope we have also spent some time figuring out how to blunt the Newc wingers starts to the sets. If that is achieved, they going nowhere.

Broncos by 8

Not dribbling like you, just trying to get a rise out of RABK. I think Newie will win this, by 4

The keyword is trying.
