Well, it was exciting, but there was as much wrestling as ever, and the attack was not automatically brilliant even though there were a lot of tries (lots of luck in many of the tries). Refs did their best to ruin the spectacle, but Dragons snatched a great win in the end. Excitement can come just from teams being close, executing well, and trying their best.

Well done Dragons, Morris looked uncomfortable at the back, Rein is going to be a great player, Weyman may be giving himself an Origin chance. Bad luck Roosters, Pearce was good again, Mini good in the air, Roosters will play like this all year I think with a young side- up and down between games, and even within games.

@ Skeepe.

The Dragons were getting more of the 50/50 calls especially in the first half.

IMO,the roosters should have had this.

The drags are in la-la land if they think they have a chance in this years comp.

In fact, both sides are no-where near as where the top clubs are.

But anyway, its nice for them (saints) to get a win on a solem day as such as ANZAC day and one can't begrudge them of that.

Who is laughing now?

Unbelievable. 40,000 people, ANZAC day, 2 good sides and an absoulute belter of a match. It was a shame that there had to be a loser today- the Roosters played sensationally I thought. Mitchell Pearce was a standout for them- his kicking game was outstanding. Probably won himself a Blues jumper IMO.

Creagh, Rein and Nightingale were good for us I thought; Soward's defence was great but his kicking game was a little off. Congratulations to Benny Hornby as well.

"O when the Saints go marching in!!"

Alright, I've calmed down a bit. Great game. Roosters were the better team. Pearce in particular was good. Hornby was definitely our best. Nice to get one of those last minute wins.
