Melbourne's left hand edge is getting cut up tonight. Team's that actually have speed on that side of the field will be taking note.

So if that was over the line would that be a try or held up?
Neither the ball or ball carrying arm touched the ground.

Put your glasses on dude. Both the ball and carrying arm clearly made heavy contact with the ground

Piss Henry off and warriors are sitting comfortably. But you can't dominate field position and possession against Melbourne and not score points or atleast build pressure. A lucky call and a fumbled kick return is all The invitation melb need.

We are murdering Melbourne and the refs are murdering us. We'll probably lose by 20 and it'll go into the record books as another solid Storm victory.

This game wouln't be close with some reasonble officiating, our forward pack can just roll over theres at will.

...although granted having backrowers in the centres and no Johnson also stops us from capitalising on our dominance.

No they didn't, the ball and ball carrying arm landed on the Melbourne defenders.

 Sure it did.

Thats why all NZ fans are talking about it, and why the commentators are making such a huge deal over it.

Maybe clutching at straws but it looked like Benry put his arm on the defender's leg/foot? Worth a 2nd look at least? Chris Ward hates us.

A big part of the ball/arm landed on the Storm players foot, but it's just illogical to think that none of that arm/ball touched the ground at the same time.

I don't think any of the arm/ball touched the ground, which is why I asked the question.
If he was over the line would it have been ruled held up, try, or what?

Try, because the arm and ball hit the ground the first time.
