Are you sure about that? Our forwards were dominant especially from halfway through the second half and our defense was better.

I was impressed with the last 20 min, the Broncos backed their defense to win and it paid off.

Both packs were very good, Warriors really got us rolling backwards but the Broncos pack was pretty good in the middle despite the lack of size and reshuffles.

But I thought they well and truly had us covered in the halves and spine. Johnson was giving us all sorts of headaches in the air & their backs posed a bigger threat.

Refs. helped 'em a fair bit too. Some glaring mistakes missed that could have hurt us big time.

Wallace is going shit but to be fair Norman is not doing much in supporting him and Hoffman has no playmaking skills whatsoever.

Hoffman gives me heart murmurs every time he plays. Ahhhh the days of the cutie...

Very true, I'd wish we kept beale, not as exciting at fullback but a hell of a lot safer, interested to see what dragons do with Beale and Morris, from my understanding beale only went to the dragons to be fullback?

Morris isn't even fullback this week, so Beale should safely be able to get that spot.

Is a sucky loss though. Nice having him in the side since Hoffman constantly looks like he is hurt.

Wally Lewis is worse than the Kiwi commentators in the bias stakes. They really need to stop giving him Broncos games, and stop giving Gary Larson any games.

Quite enjoyed that game though, it held my attention, something the previous game failed to do.

Another game to prove wrong the haters 'Broncos always win the penalty count' theory aye.

They wont take notice though, wait til before our next home game and those haters will be spouting the same ole BS lines

Well done broncos. Always a good game against your lot (less '11 finals). Gutted but proud of the warriors.

The commentary was the worse I have ever heard in 36 years of watching over 28 types of sport. And yes that includes some awful kiwi commentary. Ray Hadley...shocker

First time since round 2 you haven't won the penalty count at home. And I noted the Warriors didn't receive a penalty in the second half (despite a blatant leg pull/dragging a player into the in-goal after the tackle was completed) Just saying. ;-)

Makes up for the 10 forward passes Friend threw, one which was intentionally forward and not called...my goodness the refs were as blind as a bat out there, the better side won, thank goodness.

The stats would suggest the better said didn't win.
FYI it was Johnson that threw that forward pass.

Being the better side doesnt mean much when you leave without the points. Yep your team made more meters, and made less tackles. Pity Malonley couldnt kick to save his life.

The clearly forward pass for the Vatuvei try was thrown by Friend.

No, they wouldn't.

Warriors made more metres total, but they also had much more posession. If you look past the total metres you'll see Brisbane made more metres per hitup (8.6m vs 7.5m).

The rest of the stats are even or come down to NZ having the weight of posession.
