I'm not taking much out of this game regardless of the result. As long as no one gets busted, Perth is the winner today!! ;-)

18-12, not a bad result. Hopefully a decent hit-out for our guys, not sure whether King will be taking over Soward as the goal-kicker this season

doubt it, but a good backup & another asset in King's quality all-round game

Souths ppl
How did Reynolds & Carr go
Reynolds was fairly quiet but didn't do anything wrong, strong kicking still. Sutton was dominating the play making and involved in anything while he was on but his kicking left something to be desired. Carr was not great. Surprisingly Farrell was more impressive.

Overall they were changing combinations every 10 minutes or so, so its hard to gather alot about the best combinations but Farrell and Sutton seemed to work best on the night. Which strangely had Sutton playing halfback and Farrell at five-eight. But they were the last combination and Warriors seemed tired by then.

I would say any of the halves are going as good as Sandow did just take away the miracle plays and massive fails and add in better defence. In fact Reynolds seems remarkably similar with his kicking game, lots of 40/20s but he doesn't seem to be controlling the team as well as you'd like - which was always a problem with Sandow too.

I don't think we'll be spoon contenders, but I can see that 9th spot finish looming again

6k in aubury for a trial game that resembled nothing of NRL conditions is an absolutely ripper crowd, anyone saying otherwise has rocks in their head.

Canberra play a trial down there every year, its great for a community, great for the kids for a team to be a presence year in and year out.

Anywho, no major injuries for the raiders, great result. Bronson Harrison sounded like being back to his best which is great
