Raiders win 16-14. Thurling only injury of note from that game so far for the Raiders.

Doggies scored with 3 mins remaining to take it to 14-12, however Reece 'Lightning' Robinson beat 3 defenders in the last minute to win it for the Raiders 16-14.

Bit concerned Campese didn't play, however the Raiders have said it was only a matter of him pulling up tight after the warm up and him not wanting to risk it. Am just worried that this is a sign of things to come, considering he has attempted to to come back from injury twice in the past twelve months, and on each occasion has failed to string 2 or more games together.

Melbourne/Brisbane Injury Report

Jharal Yow Yeh picked up a shoulder injury but it's believed to be a minor concern at this stage and he's still on track to line up in the season opener against the Eels.

Also it appears Ryan Hinchcliffe was the unfortunate player to have been stretchered off earlier. No word on how serious it is just yet.

http://www.nrl.com/injuries-galore-as-storm-pip-broncos-34-30/tabid/10874/newsid/65911/default.aspx

There could be footage of the match later on the Storm website.

Two tries to Mosese Pangai (hopefully showing how dangerous he can be) and a try to KFFL has put us back in front 22-18. 57 minutes gone.

So can anything be made of any trial results this year?

Usually trial results mean next to nothing, but in the last few years the Sharks have looked abysmal in the trials, and then didn't get much better.

I'm happy enough that we didn't look abysmal for large chunks of the trials (without Gallen). I'm happy all our halves and new props look keen. I'm happy there are no real injury concerns (Gordon injured? Not sure of extent. Thanks Karma thread... Hard to feel too sorry for him if he is...)

How are others feeling from the trials?

I would have been happy to see us trial better, but at the end of the day it isn't that big of a deal. (3 from 3 last year, 1/3 this year)

A ladder for trial wins would be interesting, but completely pointless due to the varying quality of oppositions.

This is probably a silly question but why did the warriors wait until this stage to face an opponenent like the sunshine coast? Usually teams face the crappy teams like that early on.
